Just found out about the wonderful world of orgonite after a freind gave me a piece and i could not put it down
I would like to try making some on my own and have watched Sensies videos of how to make them and think i can do it.
Can anybody tell me where to get the best deal on crystals? And does it matter much what kind of metal is used, i can get aluminum from my brothers shop but that is all they have there. Is it important to have more then one kind?

www.orgonecrystals.com for crystals. and as for metal you can use just alluminum but i like to have a few types to kinda balance the energy thats just my preferance and personal observance everyones different. walmart has bbs in the sporting goods section the silver ones are steel coated in zinc and the copper ones are also steel inside. then at the dollar stores some places have stainless steel and copper pot scrubbers that you can cut up with tin snips. have fun _________________ "Beauty is eternity looking at itself in a mirror. Thank you I went to that site and there was so many choices that i don't know what to get. Is it better if the crystals are double-terminated? Autozone had some bondo and i got a gallon so now i have that with the aluminum and just need to know which crystals are the best.

I know what you mean when you are new to this and just don't know what to do. i have ordered my crystals from www.orgonecrystals.com and they are very nice and you get a lot for your money. I just ordered the double terminated from Denis at www.orgonecrystals.com because that is what I like to use in HHG's. The regular crystals from Brazil are wonderful for TB's. They come in a pound size. I have just ordered both of these and I know that they will be just what I want. Dennis gives you a LOT for your money. Good luck.

I got the crystal sampler because it seems like a good deal. I have an old muffin pan that is made with teflon that i'm going to use to make the muffins with. Do you need to grease them first? I have been looking around in my town and there are so many towers everywere that i don't know where to start but i'm going to do what i read and just work out from where i live. There seems to be a lot of helpful people here and I appreciate having somwhere to ask questions.

No, you don't need to grease them first.
Good plan to start gifting the towers closest to you.
Welcome!

Welcome, Vanessa!
I usually use a kitchen towel to lightly dip on few drops of kitchen oil, then wipe the mold with it, and make sure no drops nor residue of any visible oil in there. (Just to be safe)
Polyester resin does shrink, so it won’t be too hard to pop it out without greasing. But if you are using Epoxy, it won’t shrink as much, so you might want to pay more attention to the process. (Personally I stopped using Epoxy because of this.)
The “Crystal Sampler” was my first Orgonite making purchase too! The amounts of those quality crystals are more than generous. Orgone Crystal is the best!

Hey Vanessa welcome to the forum! I personally do not use any type of lubricant on any molds anymore due to inconsistentcies with them. If your using metal or glass molds after they are cured just put them in the freezer for a half hour or more and the orgonite will pop right out of the molds smoothly. Sometimes lubing the molds will cause divets or pits in the orgonite. I have had no problems at all since I stopped using lubricant. Happy Pouring! _________________ Wisdom Begins In Wonder |

| Where does one get this polyester material for the organic part? Is this a sealant, an adhesive? |
