i had an experience last night while sleeping where i found my self what i thought was awake except low and behold i didn't have a body. it wasn't black and white but it was very dark as if maybe my mental eyes were closed or something, and it was hard to tell anything from the other, i do remember however that there was a bright source of light which at first glance and up until now i thought looked like a fire or something of that nature, but thinking back it was in the same spot as my succor punch. i know i gained conciousness during whatever experience it was. however i am not sure whether it was just a lucid dream or an out of body experience or even something else. i don't know why everything was so dark. and a little more off subject, i was still hoping for some tips on how to program my succor punch more effectively... i am still a beginner in my search for answers. thanks for listening. peace. _________________ Roar. |

Have you ever read Robert Monroe's books? They are all about his waking up to OBEs in the early-1960s, and apparently they just came to him one day. I reccomend his books, although I am only about halfway through the first one, Journeys Out of the Body.
In the book, he describes similar experiences to yours at the beginning. I am still patiently awaiting my first OBE. Explore and enjoy. Robert Monroe developed his vision in the OBE after a few attempts. His conclusion about the darkness was the same as yours. You don't have physical eyes. He found the easiest way to get out of body was to sleep, become lucid and "roll over" not physically, but think the motion while you're lucid. It's been awhile since I read that part, but that's what I remember from it anyway.
Good luck. I would like to hear about further experiences, and if you find a method or reason how/why you are having them. Perhaps I toss and turn too much to achieve the state of sleep required.

Hey guys! I've also been recommended the books by Robert Monroe, although I haven't started reading his stuff yet. I do recommend getting one of the dream enhancers from www.ozarkorgonite.com though. It's only 15 or 16 dollars and it's worth every penny! It will definitely help you have much clearer dreams, and I suppose that could lead to OBEs. I had a dream one night that was so real, I actually felt someone grab my hand. Pretty neat stuff. Just thought I'd put my two cents in.
Take care and good luck with the dreams!
