has anyone used any aura quartz (aqua aura, indigo aura, angel aura, etc.) in their orgonite? i feel that the fact that an alchemical process is used to bond precious metal(s) to the quartz mirrors that of orgonite and could strengthen/magnify the effects. however, i am also unsure if it could be too strong, or just what any experiences have been in general from anyone who has casted with these beauties. any feedback much appreciated! _________________ creativity is intelligence having fun

Who is saying that vapor deposition of metals in a vacuum is "alchemical? It may not really matter how the thin metal film is applied, but I just want to read the funnies on this one. _________________ My web site "Orgonia"

i read it awhile ago so i am not 100% sure this is where i originally saw it but i go to this site a lot so it probably was here:

i guess it depends on how you define alchemy, i am certainly no expert but found a very general definition from merriam webster (below) and i am sure there are countless nuances as well
al·che·my
noun \ˈal-kə-mē\
Definition of ALCHEMY
1
: a medieval chemical science and speculative philosophy aiming to achieve the transmutation of the base metals into gold, the discovery of a universal cure for disease, and the discovery of a means of indefinitely prolonging life
2
: a power or process of transforming something common into something special
3
: an inexplicable or mysterious transmuting _________________ creativity is intelligence having fun

It is created in a vacuum chamber from quartz crystals and gold vapor by a process known as vapour deposition[2]. The quartz is heated to 871 °C (1600 °F) in a vacuum, and then gold vapor is added to the chamber. The gold atoms fuse to the crystal's surface, which gives the crystal an iridescent metallic sheen. |

Aqua Aura Quartz are more fragile and easier to scratch. Some people would called them brittle. I never seen orgonite with some Aqua Aura Quartz cast in them.
I know that some Heat Amethyst (almost 90% of the Citrine on market is heat amethyst) in orgonite can lower the transmuting of the device if used as main crystal, compare to a untreated clear quartz crystal.
Natural Citrine Quartz are generally better than clear quartz for transmuting, purifying and cleansing purpose with the drawback that it will be less effective to raise spiritual awareness than clear quartz who act on all chakra, while citrine tends to boost Solar Plexus energies.
But I am not sure that the Heat Amethyst are less effective than another Amethyst point not heat treated inside a device. It's kinda harder to test because to make it work, one need two amethyst point from the same source, with the same potential.
So, I am curious about Aqua Aura even if the heat amethyst don't seem to be a big deal with orgonite.
