I have been told that SiC man made shouldn't be used for healing purposes however could this be disputed? I don't know if mine is natural or man made.

The pictures don't do any justice, SiC is a very beautiful hard mineral. The points will scratch glass.

thoughts?

That is quite a plate of silicon carbide crystal. I don't think I could bring myself to grind it up. Is that a natural piece of moissanite? As a professional furniture maker in the past I used lots of silicon carbide tipped tooling and even the sandpaper for certain jobs. I am not as leery as some others about something being lab created. You might just want to get some abrasive silicon carbide powder to try in orgonite. It can be bought in very small particle sizes too.

I never thought about using silicon carbide before... (in orgonite)
but I have lots of it lying around, Normally use it for a tumbling machine.
