If anyone is interested in obtaining a durable, affordable, customizable Succor Punch, I am now offering them built-to-order with secure payment accepted via PayPal.
My SP's are based on Ryan McGinty's plans; I'm merely offering my services to anyone who needs one who wouldn't otherwise be able to build it themselves.
I learned basic electronics and soldering by age 11-12, which I all but stopped studying after I won Best Of Show at my junior high school science fair with a computer-contorlled robot which I built myself, parallel port interface and all. I think I got bored with electronics after that.
Anyway, I have recently found it very easy to construct SP drivers and well-coiled crystals, and have made a few locally for people who really seem to like my work.
I also made a new friend recently who had invested in a large quantity of quartz crystals of all shapes and sizes (although none small enough for CB's or TB's), including several appropriate for SP's, so we decided to give the Succor Punch business a shot. We picked out a dozen of his best crystals for SP's and decided to offer them together with my built-to-order SP drivers at very reasonable prices. Check them out. You can click on the crystal pricing guide to view the huge full-size version for a better view of the crystals.
This offer is in an experimental phase right now, although my warranty as described on the order page will absolutely be honored even if we decide not to continue. If I get a decent response, I'll invest more time and money into the presentation, explanation, available options, and a catchy domain name. I'll also be able to afford to make some much-needed CB's and TB's for the Portland, Maine area, which I can't right now on account of being broke.
Also, if anyone has any decent suggestions for my Links page, or has an issue with my probably ill-conceived description for the "A What Punch?" page, let's discuss that here. Your general impressions are also more than welcome.
Thanks for looking! _________________ You still don't have an SP? Check out my inexpensive Custom Succor Punches. |
