I believe Reiki works along those lines of using a life force energy from the hands mainly for healing purposes. Although I have not researched this extensively as yet. There are perhaps other methods as well of healing people or restoring the inblance in energy to one of harmony where the body can recover faster in healing itself since we are light crystallized in the form of our present form of Matter of the Human Kingdom (Thinking Beast but still most are spiritually asleep as opposed to our lower Beastly brethren who as yet have no rational or thinking ability more autonomous instinct which are governed by natures laws). But man is at the threshold of decision he must choose his path and their are only two. The ancient Adepts teach this and all agree through their own confirmations of nature using their occult senses.

We are all the same essence but to different degrees of being and knowing truth without considering their and our present forms. In time we will evolve to new forms of humanity (Sexless and no more abuse of Sex) and will produce all our offspring via some mysterious Yogic Powers of the mind thus the mystery of the immaculate conception which has been distorted by religion) less like our lower brothers who will move into our present slot through transmigration of their spiritual essence via life and death. And once they have learned the truth in their kingdom based on their questing and crying what is it all about and evolved through their experiances into higher forms of their kingdom then they will enter the Human Kingdom. The Occult doctrine says in order to know a thing we have to become that thing. So we are learning what it is to be human, but until we know everthing there is to know through are experiances good or bad this is the price to go to the ever more higher kingdoms. Their are cycles of rest in between us evolving. At one point we will No longer have to die and be reborn only untill we discover the truth (checked by Karma) since their is only one reality and one truth and one law. But everyman will have to discover this for himself.
