I want to modify my images but need to resize (say from 400 x 613) to fit half its size as: [img=200x384]anyuploadedpicture.jpg[/img]
I've tried to reduce the original sizes and save the resized version on the internet elsewhere. But the images appear TOO large each time I ?Preview? my posts. And I want to avoid hurting my readers' eyes by modifying the ones that are already posted.
I already searched old forum posts for similar problems to mine and the BBCode guide from the posting page. But I'm still stuck.
What am I doing wrong? I need HELP here! Please.
P.S. The moment of excitement has passed for a post 'saved as draft' containing an image and I may have to delete this one because of this technical issue. |

Open a flickr account and we will talk you through it.
Please don't get frustrated(unless you want, of course)
It is embarrassingly easy, when you are shown.
Maybe this will help others.
Other ideas Most welcome.

After cross-training myself once again, I?ve discovered the ease of posting images to this website.
Thanks Sensei, I am truly embarrassed! Sumimasen kudasai (Japanese for ?I?m so sorry?!)
I got my flickr.com account and uploaded an image, clicked on the image I wanted to post and proceeded as follows:
Press ?All Sizes? button.
Select available sizes. I prefer ?Small? (157 x 240). Any larger than 'Small' would overwhelm the post.
Hover mouse pointer over image and right click for ?Properties?.
Copy URL address by highlighting.
Paste URL address into your post.

Note: I inserted spaces for the 'pasted' URL address above to avoid actually posting this image.

| Depending on what theme you are using, large images should resize themselves...Let me know which ones don't and I will add it to my to-do list. |
