A few days ago while in my home town for an early Thanksgiving, I went on a small gifting run to hit some towers I had'nt gotten to yet and some power substations. While driving around I dropped off some HumanGifting Project pieces around town as well. I did'nt get a chance to do a big beach drop of HGP pieces but will when I go up for Christmas. I now have gotten nearly all the towers on Amelia Island except a few hard to get to ones I'm gonna get by boat when I gift the channel and sea again.
I went back to the beach where I gifted a dozen or so TB's and the water was the clearest I'd ever seen even as a kid.The beach had always been soothing and relaxing, but there was an overwhelming calm, soothing, serene energy there that just put a huge smile on everyone's face. Everyone really sensed a better ambiance and energy at the beach than before gifting. I did'nt have a camera at the beach but threw a few more TB's out there and left a few HGP pieces on the beach, boardwalk, and water fountains.
Well here are a few pics of the run:
TB's and HGP Pieces

HGP Pieces

Left 4 or 5 of these on different pumps after fueling up

This is a power substation coming onto the island, buried 2 TB's right at the fenceline

Tower right near the substation planted one 20 ft. from the base

Hit some payphones with some pieces

Dropped a few on some Redboxs too

One more powerstation

Had to park at a church and go through the woods and jump a ditch to get to this one. Figured it was worth 2.

While driving by the psychic with all those HGP pieces decided to turn around and drop one off. Was going to talk to her/him but no one answered the door, so I left them the little pink HGP pyramid in their mailbox.

Is everybody so brave, or am I just a coward for feeling weird about walking up to a power sub-station in broad daylight, digging a hole at the fence-line and dropping in an unknown item?
Kudos for your nerve, mate. I hope to follow your example someday. |

Definately felt weird about it and was careful to make sure I was'nt noticed. Was on the backside of a building and bent down to "tie my shoe". I definately don't want to have to explain myself to a cop or curious property owner.
I am commiting no crime and don't jump fences or trespass onto private land. I am forever looking for my lost dog though....... _________________ Wisdom Begins In Wonder |

Nice looking pieces indeed, and run. I think the power stations ideally need more pieces. [I also left a couple at a station, and will leave some more when I return]. Correct me if I'm wrong. _________________ http://beingandquirkiness.blogspot.com |

Yeah I was limited in my supply but I will go and hit it with probably an HHG soon. The TB's I used were left outside while curing as it started to rain, hence the mottled looking tops. As it is the main relay station for power coming onto the Island its an important target. Thanks! _________________ Wisdom Begins In Wonder |

Great looking pieces and definitely inspirational, It is a great feeling to do a run. So far I have only gifted my house and a few towers in my immediate area, and on foot, but it was exciting. Wish I had the resources to do more!
I am gearing up for a more intensive sweep of my neighborhood and surrounding areas. |
