I like to hear these stories as we are all drawn to different energies; it is interesting to hear!
For me it was Rose Quartz and I noticed it when held over my heart and doing self reiki treatments. It was
The first time I noticed a pulse in my hands and the treatments felt much more relaxing. There was a noticeable "sandy-eyed" feeling of comfort.
That piece of Rose Quartz was bought at a small shop in Lunenburg, NS, Canada while on our honeymoon. How fitting! <3 |

Hematite... a cool looking stone that that gave an interesting effect in my body. The first stone that had a predicable feel every time I picked one up.
Lemurian... a friend in Sweden had some crystals around a tree and asked me to pick one... I still have it and it a great friend - from Minas Gerais which I learned more about much later Now I have been saving them for years and have a nice little group that live together.
Phenacite... the first time a friend at a crystal show said "here, come back here - I want to show you something..." I walked by the area they were kept in and it literally rocked my world. Now I like to walk by the isle at the crystal store where they keep them and it's such a thrill when you get close to them - Dennis feels it in similar ways too and we laugh about it

Very attracted to labradorite with its sunny hyperborean glow.
Then looked into its various different forms, spectrolite (Finland more of a dark blue) and bywtonite (yellow labradorite), still on the search for a reddish glance but finally end up with a piece that carries the same light but on a more grounding level: hypersthene! This stone still rocks everyday for my part!

Yes, phenacite was one of my early head knockers too. Its cousin herderite is also mind blowing. Of course, moldavite was an early attention grabber too as it is for most people. If I had to choose only one stone to take on a desrt island it probably would be phenacite. Nothing can put the mind into a meditative state as quickly as phenacite. _________________ My web site "Orgonia"

Cathedral quartz.
Picked it out from hundreds on a display table. Made every hair on me stand on end. The energy I felt in my body was amazing. Did not expect that at all.
It's full of rainbows and landscapes. Perfect for scrying.
I still carry it around everywhere with me in a pouch. _________________ We're not meant to fit in....We're meant to stand out!

You probably notice too that what worked for you one year might not the next. The energetic necklace maker "Tools4transformation" even claims to keep track of stones that have become no longer appropriate for our times. They see some stones falling out of favor based on the current energetic paradigm. _________________ My web site "Orgonia"

I don't have much experience but this has given me some ideas of what to look to get in the future.
Personally purple lepidolite was pretty neat. Might have been the time, my emotions, etc. but it gave me a nice comfort and relief at the store. very cheerful
I love my Moqui Ball stone. Also known also as the shaman stone. They look almost like cement stucco and fake. They"re super heavy and have given me some "mystical experiences." Very visual, good for visual meditation. This makes me wanna go get it now!

Labradorite is another one that has called to me. _________________ Yes my driver's license does say Orgone Donor.

I am a fan of labradorite too or as it is called in the clearer grades "spectrolite," and the purple lepidolite is very calming too though for some reason I don't grok it like I used to back in the old days. You really do go through changes and certain stones quit being as pertinent to you as they were. You evolve or move anyway, and the aura requires or craves different things at different times. Sometimes an old stone will be rediscovered, and you realize you weren't that in synch with the energy originally but that now you are.
Orgonite strikes me though as being a more universal energy or "source" energy. It never really falls out of favor. Its energy underlies all things. It is eternally fresh. I guess really if I was given an ultimatum about the one subtle energy "thing" I could take to a desert island it would be orgonite, but the thing is any such island would probably have plenty of interesting and engrossing stones laying about anyway - maybe coral would be one of them, so perhaps the rhetorical question should be amended to ask what one stone would you bring with you on a space ship. _________________ My web site "Orgonia"

They were called 'glass rocks' around here, just common citrine. I can just remember visiting here from the Piedmont and my grandpa showed me 'flint', but was actually brown snow quartz. They sparked when you rubbed them together at night. I think I have kept a few pieces of citrine around every since. They were 'Magic Rocks' to me.

Visited a new age store today. They had the infamous Moldavite. Cannot deny that I want one now, and it was pretty cool feeling. Picked it up for a few seconds and instantly felt like the top of my head was spinning upwards. It was the first thing that I randomly laid eyes upon when I went into the store, and it felt very "loving" even though it was pulling me to space. Emlong mentioned feeling stoned around it. I must say that's not a bad description. I didn't get any weird vibes that I expected and it's intentions came through me very clearly.
Phenacite was also super cool, energetically uplifting but calming and relaxing.
Why do the cool stones have to be so expensive. _________________ Yes my driver's license does say Orgone Donor.

The cool stones are the rare ones, and the rare ones vibrate in novel ways to us because we never or rarely encounter their vibration in the ambient environment. Novelty is a big part of it. _________________ My web site "Orgonia"

| Growing up in a Buddhist cultured family I have always been fond of crytsals. Not realizing there immense powers until my mother gave me a gold chained necklace with a light jade green Buddha pendant. Ever since this lovable guy has been around my neck hes been giving me good vibes, great love and support from day one! |

Moldavite for me was the first I really felt. I had the wildest trip with it. Then a black medium about 5.5 inch long shiva lingham from India. Both those I will never put in orgonite just because they resonate so well already _________________ Blue Peezy |
